Photos of tournament Scrabble Players from the 70's to the present
Except for the photo of Mark Dibattista and the one of Joel and Matt, these images were scanned from prints made from Tri-x negs or the negs themselves. Most of these are on exhibit through mid-July at the Comfort Diner on 45th between 2nd and 3rd aves in New York City... as I unearth more from my files the gallery will expand.

annsan > Scrabble inventor Alfred Butts made a guest appearance at a New York tourney held at Arby's in 1981.  Here he discusses the game and the dictionary with lexicographer Dave Schulman, also
an expert Scrabble player at one time.
