  • Caption as you see fit. "Yo quiero taco bell " is too lame. These guys were fierce... this is cropped quite
a bit - I got off one shot with the 18-55 and they started giving me what-for loudly at the shutter click.. owner was
friendly but doggies must have smelled my cat.

  • One 57. This was taken in the spring of 2012 - one of my ebay customers who has become something
of a penpal now and then asked if I had any shots of this structure... So I snapped this for him when I was
in the neighborhood. When Sandy came along, it was that crane you see at the tip of this photo that got knocked about and dangled over 57th St. for days.

  • I thought I had taken this shot from the 103 bus... it was taken this past summer , July 25th to be exact.
But I discovered today (Sept 19) that it is the corner of Houston and Allen so I was on the M15. The fact that I was on the bus gave me this particular angle.. One shot out the window. I don't know what the artwork was about - but that "canvas" has been painted over with something else... though in a similar
style, it had a totally different mood.

  • The Cranes are Flying - as 51 Astor Place is being built. Points of info. The building on the left is Cooper Union, don't know the name of the glass tower in the middle, which is less than 10 years old. The building on the far right is the old Wanamaker Annex - build in 1902. The building that the cranes are working on here is already so high it hides the older building from view from the east.
