The Brick - Cicily, Alaska 1993 :-)

This was taken when the show was still on the air - Cicily in the series Northern Exposure. This and the 3 following photos were taken in autumn 1993 - I know they were still filming at the time I was there because there was "hot set" tape on Ruth Ann's store. The Brick was there before the show existed - only the exterior was used.

Brando in the Wild One painted on the side of a house in Roslyn/Cicily. As it was there when I visited in the fall of 1993 it was either there before Roslyn became Cicily or was painted for an episode that was filmed earlier, obviously. I haven't found that episode yet - have been watching reruns for the last few weeks (writing this Sept 6 2015)

Pentax LX - An overlook near an open pit copper mine. Near Blue vista? 40-80 zoom f 5.6 with polarizer. Back in 1985 it was still called route 666 - the Devils Highway... I drove alone from Eager to Morenci - had expected to stay at a motel in Alpine but it was closed for the season. Had some wind and weather... Was almost to Morenci when I managed this shot from an overlook near the open pit mine.
