Lower Manhattan from the Staten Island Ferry

"Glorious Strangers" - The shadow man graffiti - not sure of exact location - December, 1982. The shadow man was Richard Hambleton, whose graffiti art was all over the Lower east side, East village in the early 80's. I shot about 10 frames of this specific work and liked this one the best - and it is the only Shadow man work I photographed. It was really the combination of the different works and tags that appealed to me. I'm not sure of the specific location, but it was under some scaffolding . Pretty sure it was in the East village.
